Prelude - Dec 1, 2

Bani.
On a cycle, when your legs starts hurting, the only thing you think of on the climb is how to get rid of those next few meters and the reason for  descents being happier is that you don’t need to drive the wheels for sometime, anymore.
By far, the biggest lesson of  our Bombay-Goa cycling trip.

The idea of cycling Bombay-Goa along the coastal route started of with "Outdoor Adventure" interested in organising the event with probable 12 people with a back-up vehicle which ended up being an independent event of 4 guys without a back-up van.

Rahul
It took gulping down 15 beers for the realization that the trip will actually be happening with just four people onboard. We listed down all the essential and important items (sleepings bags, tents , brake wires, brake pads, spare tubes, tool kit, puncture repair kit, Enerzals, munching items, camera ) needed and got hold of those on the next day.

Dibakar.
About Cycling and a Bicycle.

“A bicycle is a long-sought means of transportation for all of us who have runaway hearts. Our first bike is a matter of curb-jumping puddle-splashing liberation; it`s freedom from supervision, from car-pools and curfews. It`s a merciful release from reliance on parents, one`s own way to the movies or a friend`s house. More plenty, it`s the first chance we have to choose our own direction.

A bicycle, no matter how elaborate the technology or how advanced the composite that it`s made of, remains driven by the body.
Suraj.
There is something fundamental about a bike: a frame with a crank, a chain and two wheels, powered by nothing more than my own legs. On a bike, you are under your own power, directed by your own hand. Your motor is yourself.”
as best described in "Its Not About The Bike, Lance Armstrong"

The feeling is in omnipresence. Be the great Livestrong man or some ordinary four guys with a dream of cycling away to a far-away land.
The Feeling of Convergence of two entities into a single one and the Oneness experienced only when you sit and ride long enough till you feel the numbness of your hurting butt .
